Conformal coatings are thin polymer films (25–250 µm) applied to PCBs and electronic components to deliver corrosion resistance, moisture protection and dielectric insulation in harsh environments. By conforming to solder joints, leads and circuit traces, these coatings extend board life, enable tighter track spacing and support high‐reliability designs.
