BONDERITE® M-CR 407 is a chromating, metal pre-treatment liquid acid bath, made from two liquid chemicals, BONDERITE M-CR 407 and BONDERITE M-CR 47. It is suitable for green and transparent chromating of aluminum. It is used in an immersion, spray or flow-coat-process and the coating produced increases corrosion resistance and paint adhesion. Please note: BONDERITE M products are used in the surface modification of metals and usually applied in a multi-stage process. The performance of these surface treatments depends on various factors such as the preceding cleaning or etching steps (BONDERITE C portfolio), line design or process parameters.
