BONDERITE® M-MN LT-10 MU MANGANESE PHOSPHATE
A 1-part, oil-absorptive, manganese phosphate coating agent for surface treatment of iron and steel in environments where oil release or spillage may occur.
If your operations call for a coating solution with increased corrosion resistance, lubrication and anti-galling properties, BONDERITE® M-MN LT-10 MU is a great choice. It is ideal for use on metal parts such as pistons, rings, liners, camshafts, tappets, and motor blocks operating in oily environments in the metal processing industries. After application, it forms a non-metallic, corrosion-resistant crystalline coating on iron and steel surfaces, leaving an excellent base for the adhesion of organic finishes and adhesives for rubber bonding. The oil-absorptive coating increases lubrication of the treated surfaces and permits rapid break-in of moving parts without scuffing, by preventing metal-to-metal contact between the bearing surfaces. As a finishing touch, it will remove light metal scratches from machining operations.
