The original Safewash (SWA) is a water based ‘Safe’ solvent cleaner which includes a biodegradable solvent. SWA is ideal for removing flux residues and many other cleaning applications which do not contain sensitive metals. SWA can be used prior to plating operations as a micro etching process, cleaning away contaminates and leaving a surface which is slightly rough. This allows excellent bonding of the plated material.
