UR5645 is a tough two-part polyurethane encapsulation resin which has primarily been developed for encapsulation of electrical components exposed to extreme conditions.
UR5645 high performance polyurethane resin has been specially developed for the encapsulation and potting of electronics such as the next generation of automotive electronics.
It exhibits excellent chemical resistance to a wide variety of chemicals, even after prolonged exposure which makes it ideal for exposed components in both automotive or industrial applications. This combined with excellent electrical properties mean that it is suited to a wide variety of applications.
Due to the hybrid nature of the resin, it has wide operating temperature range from -50 to +150°C, and can withstand up to +160°C for short periods.
Due to its low water absorption it is also well suited to a range of marine and other applications where water contact is a consideration.
